President
Carol Koenig has over 40 years of professional travel-related experience. Carol and her husband, Steve, have a passion for travel. Their intense desire to experience the world, lead them to open the agency in 2001 with a focus on group and incentive travel. Today, Carol primarily manages trips for the agency's Barefoot Gang Travel Club as well as all personal group travel requests. Carol's customized group travel planning for her discerning clients will result in an amazing & memorable itinerary.
Steve Koenig
CEO
Steve Koenig, CEO of Group Trek Travel, has over 25 years' experience specializing in Group Travel. His MBA in Finance and his background as a corporate banker make him an expert at negotiating contracts with suppliers for the benefit of clients. Steve has successfully escorted group trips from Tahiti to Budapest and most points in between. His passion is making sure trip participants have no worries and thoroughly enjoy themselves. Steve and his Wife, Carol, take a unique tag team approach to their escorted trips, which provides an unmatched level of service, and assures that all their group trips are thoroughly pre-planned and well executed to achieve the best possible result.
