Carol Koenig, President of Group Trek Travel, has over 25 years of professional travel-related experience.  Part of her job junction as a Marketing Manager in the first 15 years of her career was to design and execute sales meetings and sales incentive trips for her employer. Carol and Steve’s passion for travel, and their intense desire to experience the world, lead them to open the agency in 2001 with a focus on group and incentive travel. Carol quickly expanded the agency to handle exclusive personal vacations for group leaders, corporate executives, and individual group participants who admired her work. Carol’s MBA in Marketing and her many years as a marketing professional have given her the unique ability to not only execute a successful group trip, but to assist in the trip’s marketing and design components as well.

Steve Koenig, CEO of Group Trek Travel, has over 15 years experience specializing in the Incentive Travel Business.  His MBA in Finance and his background as a corporate banker make him an expert at negotiating contracts with suppliers for the benefit of  clients.  Steve has successfully escorted group and incentive trips from Tahiti to Budapest and most points in between.   Steve's passion is making sure trip participants have no worries and thoroughly enjoy themselves.  Steve and his Wife, Carol, take a unique tag team approach to their escorted trips, which provides an unmatched level of service, and assures that all their group trips are thoroughly pre-planned and well executed to achieve the best possible result.
